How We Started Our Company
My name is Sue Sula and I am the proud owner of Artex Designs, LLC
At a very young age I wanted to be a fashion designer. As a teenager, I would love to create my own wardrobe and often stayed up all night designing a new outfit to wear the next day. My love of all things fashion continued and I received my degree in fashion merchandising. The future I envisioned for myself was to create my own line of haute couture evening gowns. Little did I know that my dream gowns of so many years ago would become the T-shirts I fondly design today.
Fast forward to 1991. We started printing shirts in our home with the barest of equipment. We exceeded our own expectations as our designs became well-known in the community. Our growing orders allowed us to invest our profits into purchasing professional equipment and to relocate to our new retail location in 1992.
We have continued to progress and now have fully automated equipment to keep up with our philosophy of a fast turnaround time. The demand to add embroidery and ad specialty items allowed us to develop into a full service custom imprint business.
